Barbecue with Friends
Sunday afternoons, my friends and I gathered and prepared a barbecue meal. We went shopping to begin each week and prepared hearty meals with meat, vegetables, and side dishes. Some recipes succeeded more than others, but we had a great time with the overall process.

Board Games
On Friday mornings I participated in the Beyond Monopoly: Economics-Based Boardgames seminar with Mrs. Wallace and a group of friends. Our games often made for competitive, high-energy atmospheres, and Mrs. Wallace's enthusiasm for the games we played was contagious. I even ended up buying 7 Wonders, one of the games we played this spring.

My second food-related activity this spring was the Breads & Spreads seminar led by Dr. Cyr. We took on a variety of different recipes throughout the spring and made our breads asynchronously during the week, coming together to share our work on Friday mornings.

United Kingdom History Seminar
Another academic component of my SSP was the UK History seminar, which I designed along with Dr. Spring and a group of friends. We independently studied various historical topics from the United Kingdom and Ireland, and met together on Monday afternoons to share our knowledge and hear about Dr. Spring's experiences traveling and studying in the region.
